Need metal pop tabs, plastic tubs, 20 cereal boxes or 300 crayons? Visit the ReUZ Room located at 8695 Broadway, Merrillville. Free supplies are available to any non-profit organization, including teachers, scout and church groups. Shoe boxes, buttons, used crayons, paper towel tubes, egg cartons, and yarn are just a few of the reusable items accepted as donations and made available to you. Before you leave the ReUZ Room, your bags of reusables are weighed and a record is kept of the pounds of trash diverted from landfills! Visitors to the Reuz Room can bring PRE-SORTED, CLEAN, REUSABLE items to the EEC during the hours listed above. A staff member will check your items in before you leave so please be prepared to spend a few minutes here. Items CANNOT be left outside the building at any time.
