UNWANTED OR EXPIRED MEDICATIONS

The best way to keep pharmaceutical chemicals out of our drinking water supplies, lakes and streams is to take the unwanted or expired prescriptions and over-the-counter medications to one of the police departments, listed below.  Proper disposal also prevents poisoning of pets and children from accidental ingestion.  Protect the environment and your family by cleaning out your household medicine cabinets and ensuring the safe disposal of unwanted medications.  All prescription medications; over-the-counter medications; vitamins and nutritional supplements; and veterinary medications are accepted.
